#50: Challenge of the week: Knee Drops

I like to give myself a weekly challenge in order to stay motivated. There are 7 levels for every challenge, so everyone can join in. Feel free to modify the challenges so they fit your personal needs. Remember always to listen to your body, don’t push yourself too hard but keep moving. Doing only these challenges is not a balanced way to get or stay fit. If you have doubts about exercises, or your body, always ask a specialist for advice!

Knee drops
This is not a dance move, well, it is, but I am not going to do the dance move knee drop. I am going to do the exercise that is called knee drops and it will help to strengthen my obliques. How I love ab exercises! This one is an advanced level exercise once again. If you have joined my challenges for the entire year, you will be able to pull this off! I am sure you can do it! If you feel a little bit unsupported, the video suggest using dumbbells to stabilize. Of course, if you train at home, there are plenty of other things you can use to help stabilize your body. What about your partner, holding on to a table, a pair of tin cans, whatever is available and helps you to maintain the right form. If this exercise is one step too far for you, you can replace this challenge with a re-do of the oblique crunch. Enjoy!

level 7: 1000 reps
