#15: Challenge of the week: Push up

I like to give myself a weekly challenge in order to stay motivated. There are 7 levels for every challenge, so everyone can join in. Feel free to modify the challenges so they fit your personal needs. Remember always to listen to your body, don’t push yourself too hard but keep moving. Doing only these challenges is not a balanced way to get or stay fit.

Push ups – Hand stand progression!
This challenge is a real challenge for most of us. This one is not a basic skill. Therefore, pick not only a low level, but also pick the right position. Don’t go all the way if you are not experienced, and preferably don’t perform these push ups when you are home alone. Ask for assistance! Don’t do this challenge if you are unsure about your abilities to perform it. If you really feel insecure, you can repeat challenge #6.

level 1: 25 reps
level 2: 50 reps
level 3: 75 reps
level 4: 100 reps
level 5: 125 reps
level 6: 150 reps
level 7: 200 reps
